This note describes the application of moiré method to forced convection problems for a fully developed laminar flow in non-circular ducts with a constant longitudinal wall temperature gradient. It is pointed out that the method is applicable to any complex polygonal-shaped duct and to any annular polygonal-shaped duct. Some properties and limitations of the moiré method are pointed out.
