Abstract
A sample of 31 criminal defendants who were charged with murder but without major mental disorder was studied. The sample was derived from a large urban multi-ethnic, multi-cultural community pool. Subject characteristics and information about the homicide and decedents are described. Suggestions for further study are briefly discussed.
