The following corrections are to be noted with reference to the original paper by Narayana et al. [ASME J. Heat Transfer, 2013, 135(3), p. 032501].
The equation governing momentum transfer in page 2, Eq. (3) should be replaced with

This is due to the fact that in the original paper while modeling the quadratic drag term in the case of natural convection from a vertical plate in a thermally stratified porous medium involving power-law liquid, the authors have inadvertently missed the permeability factor .
